I am beyond excited for this “Roach Belly” Knife. I had another example a few years back before gifting it to a close friend. Two distinct differences I noticed with this one compared to the last one. The first one I had looked just like the pictures in the listing, dark handle with handsome earthy colors, and a stiff dark brown sheath with a semi gloss finish. This new one is different. The handle has a BEAUTIFUL blood-red stain to it, and the leather sheath is softer now and has a light matte finish. Knife was very well packaged in bubble wrap surrounded by packing paper and the blade was coated in oil to protect from rust. Edge holds a mean edge and is not hard to maintain once formed. A big thank you to the seller for letting me know when this was back in stock. This just might be my new favorite knife!
